MidAtlantic Retina (the Retina Division of Wills Eye Hospital) is looking for a Co-Director of the Uveitis Unit. Established in 2014, the Uveitis Unit sees about 500 new patients and 3000 return patients yearly at Wills. Applicants should be fellowship-trained in Uveitis and should have a strong desire to teach medical students, residents, and retina fellows and to serve as the Director for our new uveitis fellowship that we plan to begin in 2023. We plan to expand the clinical volume through satellite clinics in Pennsylvania and New Jersey to be shared by the uveitis faculty but the primary appointment is at Wills. Academic appointments commensurate with experience and publications may be requested from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. While we welcome dual fellowship-trained candidates, the position is uveitis-focused, including uveitic cataract surgery. Post-fellowship uveitis work experience is helpful but not essential. Interested applicants should contact J.P. Dunn, M.D. through Peggy Semen at email@example.com or at 215-928-3095.
